DAY ONE

Here's a quick recap of my first full day of Momcation.

We enjoyed the view from the Lincoln Memorial.

Discovered that Five Guys really is better than In-n-Out. (Sorry, California.)

Pretended to get lost.

Then we really got lost trying to find our car. In this picture, Kelley and I are studying a poorly made bus map. Talk about a tense situation! Here's a tip: Take the GPS everywhere. I'm just sayin'.

Five Guys? You're crazy. Although the last time I ate there I was pregnant with Cami, and I firmly believe that can ruin a place for anyone. Have fun on the east coast!

You are so funny! That first picture is... hmmm, I'm not sure what word I'm looking for :)
We have "5 guys" here, and it is delicious, but I'd go to "In-and-Out" 9 times out of 10 over "5 guys" just because it is about half the price. I'm really cheap when it comes to food though.
I'm glad you are having a fun vacation!

Cristin, you "crack" me up! That's really funny. I didn't know you guys were out here! ("Here" meaning the East Coast; I still haven't got over my western mentality that anything under 5 hours is totally driveable.) How much longer are you going to be around? And is 5 Guys seriously better?! We have one here; I'll have to check it out!

Five Guys better than In N Out? What disloyalty! Five Guys hamburgers are bulkier - more meat - but that's actually one of the reasons I prefer In N Out. I like the thin meat patty with lots of vegetables.

Your new shirt looks like a Yuma Criminal mascot shirt. Did you go to Yuma High? You look cute, I love you!

No shakes + peanuts everywhere + fries in a paper bag + more expensive = not better than In-n-out. Sorry.

Love the pictures and the little recap of your trip. I want to see more! I can't wait until Steffen gets back from DC area so I can go out there and visit when he's not a missionary. Glad you are home safe and sound.

I'm friends with Random Stranger, but I have to declare that In-n-Out is sick. The burgers start out as nothing special and then they are dressed in Thousand Island nastiness? No thanks
